CHEF LISA DENIEARS CILANTRO- LIME SAUCE
Chef Lisa, a very dear friend of mine, was kind enough to share this delicious recipe with the world. Thanks, Chef! This recipe is versatile and can be used as a condiment, marinade, or dressing. It can also be made ahead and frozen for up to 2 months. I highly encourage using this as a condiment for Collard Green Wraps or on a baked sweet potato with avocado slices.
MAKES ABOUT 1 CUP
- 4 to 5 scallions green part only, roughly chopped
- 1 bunch fresh cilantro
- Zest of ½ lime about 1 teaspoon
- Juice of 2 limes about ¼ cup
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons water
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon ground cumin
- 4 to 7 slices pickled jalapeño optional
