Golden Milk

- 1 cup plant-based milk
- ½ teaspoon ground turmeric or ½ teaspoon grated turmeric root
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon ground ginger or 1 teaspoon grated ginger root
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon ground cardamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon maple syrup (optional)
Add milk through vanilla into a small saucepan and heat, whisking well to incorporate all ingredients. Once it is hot enough, remove it from heat and strain it into a mug with optional sweetener.
