Avocado Dipping Sauce

Healthy fats and a creamy, herb-enhanced dip complement any sandwich, taco, veggie burger, or roasted vegetables. It is also the perfect condiment to a Buddha Bowl.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 avocado mashed
  • ½ cup plain coconut or plant-based yogurt Juice of one lemon
  • 1 teaspoon chopped basil
  • 1 teaspoon chopped mint
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • In a medium bowl, add avocado, yogurt, lemon, and herbs. Mix well to incorporate all ingredients. The mixture will be creamy but somewhat lumpy. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Notes

Optional add-ins: pickled or fresh jalapeno, chopped olives, relish
